Mulburry House was a small but interesting cottage that has had some strange extensions added many years ago. Our plan was to take off the first floor to the west longe extension and build a new full height bedroom extension over the lounge; build a two storey east extension; the re-roof the whole structure whilst adding a south-facing sun room in front of the existing kitchen which would now form a sunlit hub to the whole house.
This was a new development within the garden of the existing Tillingbourne Cottage. The style retails the local vernacular character of the local village of Shere, near Guilford.
We are often called on to convert old barns to living accommodation whether they are listed or curtilage listed buildings for private use as a new dwelling or for a holiday let.
We have extensive experience in stone and cob construction, both for refurbishment and repair.
